  1. ‘Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe Mahadevaya Dhimahi Tanno Rudrah Prachodayat’ is the Shiva Gayatri Mantra.

Meaning: The Shiva Gayatri Mantra is highly strong; it provides you with peace of mind, that pleases Lord Shiva.

  1. “Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanam I Urvarukamiva Bandhanath Mrityormukshiya Mamritat II ‘Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra”

Meaning: This highly powerful mantra assists us in overcoming our fear of death. Because Lord Shiva is the Lord of Death and Destruction, he is the only one who can save us from death. Family members of those on the point of death frequently say this mantra for the affected to recover quickly.

4. “Kara carana krtam vakkayajam karmajam va

Sravana nayanajam va manasam vaparadham

vihitamavihitam va sarvametat-ksamasva

jaya jaya karunabdhe sri mahadeva sambho.”

Meaning: Whatever misdeed I have done with my hands and feet, sins born of my hands and body, or sins caused by the work I do. Whatever sins are made of my ears and sight, or my mind, or of my performing what is prescribed and what is not prescribed. Oh Lord, forgive all  my sins. Victory to you, oh ocean of kindness, the most powerful and auspicious of gods. 

5. “Karpur Gauram Karunavataram

Sansara Saram Bhujagendra Haram

Sada Vasantam Hridayaravinde

Bhavam Bhavani Sahitam Namami”

Meaning:I kneel to Lord Shiva, who resides in my heart with Mata Bhawani. He is white as camphor, the embodiment of compassion, the essence of the universe, adorned with the king of snakes (Vasuki) as his necklace
